Volunteer supports Korumburra’s Hillside Lodge for 21 years

The Friends of Hillside Lodge Op Shop is celebrating 21 years of dedicated fundraising for Hillside Lodge, the residential care centre at Korumburra Hospital, operated by Bayside Health. Founded in 2003 by Anne Millar, the volunteer-run op shop has directed every dollar of its proceeds to capital improvements and comfort upgrades for Hillside Lodge residents.

Foster Early Learning leads the way in creating a healthier start for children

Foster Early Learning has been recognised by the Victorian Government after meeting best practice benchmarks across all health areas of the Achievement Program — a statewide initiative supporting schools and services to create healthier environments for children. They are the second education setting in Bass Coast and South Gippsland shires to complete this milestone, the other being Fish Creek Kindergarten in 2023.
