Specialist Outpatient Clinics are medical clinics where you can see specialist doctors, allied health professionals or nurses about a specific health problem. You will need a referral from your General Practitioner (GP) or family doctor, or other health care worker to see a specialist.
Specialist Outpatients Clinics provide scheduled medical, nursing and allied health services to outpatients via telehealth and in person at all Alfred campuses.
eReferrals have been introduced at Alfred Health to improve the referral experience for patients, referrers and clinicians. Consultmed eReferrals is a secure, safe electronic system for the delivery of clinical information between healthcare providers.
Our Outpatient Clinics offer planned, non-admitted medical, nursing, and allied health services for those needing specialised assessment or treatment not available from a GP or community health provider.
