Creating the future of healthcare
Research
We think differently and work together to turn our research into better ways to diagnose, treat, and prevent disease. We’re passionate about building a culture where researchers, clinicians, and communities collaborate to make a real impact on people’s health.
Research and clinical trials are a big part of how we do this. By bringing them together, we’re constantly learning, improving, and finding new ways to deliver better care and outcomes for the people we support.
Search for a clinical trial at The Alfred
The Alfred clinical trial portfolio is one of the largest in the country. We have more than 700 clinical trials open across 30 clinical units.
Browse our clinical trial directory to discover current reserach studies, explore eligibility criteria and find clinical trials currently recruiting.
Alfred Reserch Alliance
A collaborative partnership between like-minded organisations focused on solving the world's most critical health challenges.
To do this, we brought together eight independent organisations with a shared commitment to excellence in medical research – The Alfred, Monash University, Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Burnet Institute, Deakin University, La Trobe University, Nucleus Network and 360biolabs.
