About Griffiths Point Lodge
Griffiths Point Lodge is idyllically set on the beach in San Remo and is home to 29 residents. Each of the 29 single rooms is thoughtfully positioned to offer either sweeping views of Bass Strait or looks out onto the surrounding gardens, which include fruit trees and raised garden beds.
Residents also enjoy a tranquil internal courtyard featuring raised vegetable beds, flowering plants, mature trees and an undercover rotunda designed for comfort, relaxation, and social connection.
In addition to the courtyard, a secure walking path surrounds the home, providing access to more garden spaces, raised vegetable beds and fruit trees. Along the path, residents can relax under established shaded trees and enjoy observing the ever-changing local wildlife - supporting wellbeing, independence and meaningful engagement with nature.

All meals are cooked by qualified staff, with residents being actively involved in menu planning, ensuring meals reflect their preferences, cultural backgrounds and dietary needs.
The main lounge provides a comfortable space for relaxation, featuring a large screen television, DVDs, CDs and radio. The activities room, highlighted by a stunning bay window overlooking the sea, includes a piano for sing-a-longs and community gatherings.
Our dynamic lifestyle team delivers a diverse program of activities tailored to residents’ interests, including day trips into the community and visits from community groups. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the facility to support residents in maintaining hobbies, connections and access to information.

The team - led by the Nurse Unit Manager - includes registered and enrolled nurses, personal care workers, physiotherapists, diversional therapists, and catering and environmental services staff, all working together to provide high quality, person-focused care.
