Killara Hostel offers secure, private accommodation for individuals and couples who value their independence
Killara Hostel Aged Care
What we do
Killara has 26 single rooms (with full ensuite) for anyone over the age of 65 who can no longer live at home any longer or who has made a lifestyle choice of moving into residential care.
Both nurses and health care workers provide care and support, and we strive for person centred care.
Living at Killara Hostel
Through our popular Leisure and Lifestyle Program, there is always plenty to do at Killara. Residents can choose from a huge range of activities; or they can simply spend time with friends and family in one of our informal common areas, or out in the beautiful gardens that make the most of our rural setting.
An in-house chef prepares nutritionally balanced meals; with breakfast, lunch and dinner served in our two dining areas.
Killara Hostel is situated in the township of Koo Wee Rup which is 15 minutes from Pakenham and Cranbourne. Killara is on the grounds of the Kooweerup Hospital campus and provides secure, private accommodation for singles and couples who continue to enjoy an independent lifestyle, knowing that quality care is close by.
Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD): $475,000
Our welcoming environment supports residents to maintain their independence while providing access to care and support when needed. The hostel features 26 spacious single rooms, each with a full ensuite, delivering the right balance of privacy and community.
