What we do
There are many young people in the Koo Wee Rup and Cardinia area facing challenges who need some extra support, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We understand that being young can be difficult, whether you're dealing with mental health concerns, family issues, substance use, identity questions, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life's pressures.
That's why we offer a range of programs and services specifically designed to help youths in difficulty. Every young person deserves access to compassionate, non-judgmental care, and we're committed to providing exactly that in a safe and welcoming environment.
Most importantly, Kooweerup Hospital is here to help young people, and we mean that sincerely. Our friendly and approachable staff are very experienced in dealing with youths from a range of backgrounds, and they do so with absolute discretion and care. We know that reaching out for help can feel scary or uncomfortable, but our team works hard to create a space where you can feel heard, respected, and supported without fear of judgment.
Whether you're coming to us yourself or with the support of family or friends, we'll work with you to understand your unique situation and connect you with the right services to help you move forward. You matter, and your wellbeing matters to us.
Here are some of the ways we help young people:

- Housing
- Emergency welfare
