What we do
Our occupational therapists assist by supporting you to do the things you need and want to do in all aspects of daily life.
This may include helping to increase independence through therapy input, trialling and finding the right aides or equipment or home modifications to support a person to achieve their goals.
We offer advice and assistance on a wide range of issues including:
- Independence at home
- Risk and fall assessment
- Wheelchair and scooter assessment
- Pressure care, stroke rehabilitation
- Equipment and aide advice
- Home modifications
- Stress management
- Return to work strategies
Know that we will work closely with you throughout your rehabilitation, to ensure that your needs are met and your treatment remains aligned to your long-term goals.
Referral from your GP
To access this service, you’ll need a referral letter from your GP or medical practitioner.

We will contact you within clinically recommended timeframes. If there’s no waiting list, you’ll receive an appointment booking letter or we’ll call to arrange a convenient time.
What to bring with you
Every time you come:
- Medicare card
- Health Care Card and/or concession card (if you have one)
- Private health insurance card (if applicable/if you want to use it)
- Adverse drug alert card (if you have one
- Previous& X-ray films, scans, ultrasounds or any other test results or reports
- Medicines you need to take while you are here
- List of medicines you are currently taking (or the boxes), including medicines you have bought without a prescription, such as herbal supplements and vitamins
- Glasses, hearing aid(s) and/or walking frame if needed
