Nephrology

Nephrology services support kidney health through expert diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive patient care locally in the Bass Coast region

What we do

Nephrology focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of kidney related conditions. Kidneys play a vital role in filtering waste, balancing electrolytes, regulating blood pressure, and supporting overall health.

When they are not functioning properly, a wide range of symptoms and complications can occur.

In addition, the department provides a range of outpatient clinics for chronic kidney disease and haemodialysis.
