Important information for Sandringham Hospital maternity, newborn and gynaecology patients

From 1 July 2026, the care of maternity, newborn and gynaecology patients at Sandringham Hospital transferred from Monash Health to Bayside Health.

While we complete this transition, please note the following advice for clinical appointments.

Appointments in July

For patients who are scheduled for an outpatient clinic appointment in July, your appointment has been booked. You will receive a re-confirmation message from Bayside Health by Tuesday 7 July.

If you do not receive this message, please contact Sandringham Hospital maternity and gynaecology clinic from Wednesday 8 July.

Appointments from August 1

If your next appointment is scheduled from 1 August onwards, you will be contacted in due course to confirm the date and time.

If you are concerned about yourself or your baby, outside your normal pregnancy care, please contact our Birth Suite Team on (03) 9076 1245.
