Gastroenterologist
Dr Peter Lim is a gastroenterologist with expertise in advanced endoscopy and the management of complex gastrointestinal conditions. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and physician training at Austin Health, followed by specialist training in gastroenterology and hepatology across Peninsula Health and Eastern Health.
Dr Lim has undertaken further subspecialty training in advanced endoscopy, developing skills in procedures such as bowel cancer screening, complex polyp removal, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound. He provides both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services and manages a wide range of gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary conditions.
Peter participates in Bayside Health upper gastrointestinal, pancreatobiliary and colorectal multidisciplinary meetings. He accepts referrals for both routine and complex gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy.
