Medical Oncologist
Dr Joshua Hurwitz is a Medical Oncologist with a focus on breast and genitourinary cancers. He completed his medical degree at James Cook University and holds a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Dr Hurwitz undertook oncology training in Sydney across the South West Sydney Local Health District and St Vincent’s Hospital. He completed further fellowship training at the Garvan Institute and Kinghorn Cancer Centre, specialising in breast and genitourinary cancers.
With over 15 years of experience, he has worked across major Australian health services, including Monash Health and Barwon Health, and has undertaken international observerships in the United States.
Dr Hurwitz is committed to evidence-based, compassionate care and has a strong interest in clinical trials and medical education.
