Gynaecologist
Dr Iruka Kumarage is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical practice in the UK and Australia. He completed specialist training in the UK, developing advanced expertise in urogynaecology and pelvic floor surgery.
After working in London and Surrey, he relocated to Australia in 2013 and has since provided high-quality care across Ballarat and regional Victoria.
Dr Kumarage offers comprehensive obstetric care, including management of high-risk pregnancies. His gynaecology services address a wide range of conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, menopause, PCOS, fertility concerns, urinary incontinence, and vaginal prolapse.
He also provides colposcopy and performs procedures ranging from minor surgeries to advanced laparoscopic and major reconstructive gynaecological operations.
