Clinical Lead and Haematologist
George Grigoriadis is currently employed as a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist at Bayside Health. He is also an Associate Professor at The School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, Monash University.
He is the Head of the Immunohaematology Research laboratory in the Centre for Cancer Research at Hudson Institute of Medical Research and was a recipient of the Victorian Cancer Agency Clinical Research Fellowship. During this fellowship, he undertook research in understanding blood disorders in particular myeloma and myelodysplasia, and translating these findings into improved patient outcomes.
George, together with Dr Abbey Willcox, has been involved in the establishment and implementation of cancer services for the communities of Bass Coast and South Gippsland. They are passionate about the provision of care to patients close to home.
