Geriatrician
Dr Eugene D’Souza is a geriatric medicine physician with over 20 years of healthcare experience. He began his career as a physiotherapist before pursuing medicine, driven by a commitment to providing holistic care for older people.
He completed his medical degree with honours at the University of Notre Dame Australia and undertook physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. He went on to complete advanced training in geriatric medicine across St Vincent’s, Peninsula, and Monash Health services.
Dr D’Souza has worked across acute care, rehabilitation, community health, and aged care. His areas of interest include dementia, aged psychiatry, palliative care, and rehabilitation. He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care tailored to each individual.
