Dr David Bertovic is a general cardiologist dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, with a strong focus on clear communication and helping patients understand their cardiovascular health and treatment options.
He completed his medical training at Monash University and has held positions at Geelong Hospital and The Alfred Hospital, before undertaking specialist cardiology training at Monash Medical Centre. Earlier in his career, he completed an honours research degree investigating the impact of strength training on blood pressure and vascular health.
Dr Bertovic has a special interest in exercise and sports cardiology, and has worked with elite sporting organisations. He has also contributed to clinical research, medical education, and curriculum development for postgraduate training programs.
