Dr Basavaraj Mundasad to the senior medical team. Dr Basavaraj Mundasad is a passionate and highly skilled general surgeon providing expert, quality, comprehensive, and compassionate care to all patients. Dr Mundasad graduated with a MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Belgaum, India in 1995.
Completing post-graduate surgical training from the same institute in 1999 and obtaining a MRCSEd from The Royal College Of Surgeons Edinburgh, UK in 2001. Higher surgical training followed in Northern Ireland and Scotland and he completed his exit exam to obtain FRCS General Surgery in 2009.
Dr Raj worked as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon in UK before moving to Australia in 2013 and successfully completing his Australian fellowship in 2015.
Dr Mundasad is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh UK. Offering the following services at Bayside Health; Consultations General Surgery, Gastro Intestinal Endoscopy GESA certified, Laparoscopic Procedures, General Surgery (hernias, benign skin lesions, lumps, etc.) and Colorectal Surgery benign condition.
