Rehabilitation Physician
Associate Professor Barry Rawicki is a rehabilitation physician with extensive experience helping people recover from illness and injury. He runs a private practice in St Kilda, mainly caring for adults, and is also the Medical Director of Paediatric Rehabilitation at Monash Health and Monash Children's Hospital.
He has held many leadership roles, including Head of Rehabilitation at Monash Health and Director positions at Caulfield and St John of God Nepean Rehabilitation. He also led rehabilitation services at Epworth Brighton until 2020.
A/Prof Rawicki has a strong focus on conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury and brain injury, as well as chronic pain and spasticity. He helped introduce botulinum toxin treatment in Australia and has received national recognition for his contributions.
