Louise is an experienced healthcare executive with a deep personal understanding of regional healthcare and a strong commitment to improving access, equity and outcomes for rural communities.
Appointed as Chief Executive, Regional Care Group for Bayside Health, Louise provides executive leadership across the Wonthaggi, Leongatha, Korumburra, Phillip Island and Kooweerup sites. Her focus is on maintaining care continuity, strong governance and operational stability, while ensuring communities increasingly receive high-quality care close to home.
Previously Louise served as Chief Executive Officer of Gippsland Southern Health Service from February 2023 to January 2026, where she led strengthened clinical governance, service reform and community-centred models of care. Prior to this, she held senior executive roles at Bass Coast Health, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and led the successful commissioning of the Wonthaggi Hospital Expansion. She has also served as Interim Executive Director of the Gippsland Health Services Partnership, supporting collaboration and shared reform across the region.
Louise holds a Master of Nursing, is an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management, and is in the final stage of completing a Master of Business Administration.
