Cardiologist
Dr Sandeep (Sunny) Prabhu is a highly accomplished cardiologist who graduated from Monash University in 2005 with honours in both Medicine and Law; one of only a small number of students to achieve this dual qualification simultaneously.
He completed his internship and early medical training at The Alfred Hospital before undertaking specialist cardiology training across The Alfred, Royal Melbourne and Frankston Hospitals.
In 2013, Sunny was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He subsequently completed advanced subspecialty training in electrophysiology and cardiac device implantation at The Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospitals, alongside a clinical PhD.
He further refined his expertise with an international fellowship at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, Europe’s largest electrophysiology centre, where he focused on advanced catheter ablation techniques.
