Nephrologist
Dr Kenneth Xie is a Consultant Nephrologist dedicated to helping patients understand their kidney health and feel confident in their care. He manages a broad range of conditions, including chronic kidney disease, haematuria and proteinuria, hypertension, dialysis, and kidney transplantation.
Dr Xie takes a practical, thorough, and patient-centred approach, ensuring patients feel heard and well informed about their diagnosis and treatment options. He works closely with general practitioners to provide coordinated, holistic care.
He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne and undertook specialist training across major tertiary centres in Melbourne. Dr Xie also consults publicly at Monash Health, Alfred Health, and Bayside Health Regional - Phillip Island. He is currently completing a PhD on obesity and kidney transplantation and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
