Elder-in-Residence
Our Elder-in-Residence functions to support Bayside Health Regional staff in relation to caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients. She has been recognised for her expertise on Indigenous health.
Aunty Doseena Fergie is a respected Elder in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and is experienced in community development. Aunty Doseena continues to work part-time as an academic at the University of Melbourne and enjoys living with her family in the beautiful Bass Coast region.
