As Bayside Health’s Chief Nursing & Midwifery Officer, Adj Professor Fiona Reed is responsible for leadership and oversight of Nursing and Midwifery, Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research and Nursing and Midwifery Workforce.
With a career spanning thirty years, Fiona is an experienced nursing leader with a decade of executive and operational experience within the Victorian public health sector. Across the breadth of her career, Fiona has led strategy in quality and safety, reducing restrictive practices, workforce planning and industry-based nursing and inter-professional education.
Fiona is inspired to make a difference in delivering high quality care and driving generational change across the nursing workforce.
Her ultimate goal is to motivate and empower healthcare professionals to consistently provide fundamental care that is both excellent and compassionate. She believes from this position that patients will experience the full benefits of comprehensive interprofessional care.
Fiona holds qualifications in nursing, mental health and public sector management.
